New Apprentice

Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the tall oak for a clan meeting. Today Snowpaw has decided to become a warrior apprentice instead of a medicine cat. I have decided to grant her request. Snowpaw your new mentor will be Wildflower. Wildflower pass on your skills to this apprentice. Clan dismissed.

    Feathermoon sighed. She would miss having the perky young cat as her apprentice, althought she felt happy for Snowpaw. She was going down the path that suited her, and medicine cat just wasn't it.

    I didn't want to hurt your feelings, Feathermoon, I just felt I wasn't cut out to be a medicine cat. I liked training to fight more than gathering and sorting herbs.
